Dessen Musiker und Musikerinnen spielen und performen seit 1998 auf Instrumenten, die aus Gem\u00fcse angefertigt werden. Karotten, Sellerie, Gurke, Lauch, Paprika, K\u00fcrbis, getrocknete Zwiebelschalen \u2013 you name it!<\/p>\n<p>Dabei werden aus dem Gem\u00fcse keineswegs einfach herk\u00f6mmliche Musikinstrumente nachgebaut. Vielmehr experimentieren die \u201eGem\u00fcsikerInnen\u201c laufend mit Formen, T\u00f6nen bzw. Ger\u00e4uschen und wie man aus all dem Musikst\u00fccke entwickelt. Welchen Ton kann man mit Sellerieknollen oder K\u00fcrbissen erzielen? Wie klingen Melanzanischeiben? Welches Ger\u00e4usch machen Petersilienst\u00e4ngel, wenn man sie aneinander reibt? Der Sound von ausgeh\u00f6hlten Gurken? Eignet sich roter Paprika als Trompetend\u00e4mpfer auf Karotten?
